Pictures from hikes around Payson


The scenery may look pleasant and surreal at times, but the "hike" is not a walk in the park. Rough, rocky climbing and hiking over streams can be very strenuous, plan accordingly and carry plenty of water. Some of the best scenery is found away from the water.
The colors and the deminsions of these rocks are simply amazing. Design and texture is not alike on any two. It is wonderful to see such a place.


This is the "water wheel" for which this recreation area is named.



Is this for real? We have no way of knowing.
